1.
How do I sign up with a program?
It's easy, simply click on the "Program Categories"
link to your left. Then, find a topic that best fits your site and click on the company
link of your choice. Some company links will open to the affiliate program application. If
not, search for the Webmaster and/or Affiliate Program link and proceed accordingly.2. Do I need a web site to join a program?
Not necessarily. However, it is recommended that you have a
web site to place the text and/or banner links for visitors to click on. Most Internet
Service Providers (i.e. AOL) offer a FREE web site. Contact your provider for details.
3. How do I place links or banners on
my site?
Once you have applied and have been given your unique URL
(i.e. http://www.companyname.com/code=12345?yourname), copy and paste it onto your home
page. Please contact their affiliate support for requirements and steps to adding their
content or banners.
4. Is there a startup fee I have to
pay in order to join a program?
No, nearly all programs are FREE to join. Some Multilevel
Marketing (MLM) programs do have enrollment fees. These fees cover startup kits, etc. and
usually offer very high commissions.
5. How do I know which program is
right for me?
This depends on your web site content. Imagine it as putting
together a good combination (i.e. your site is about sports, signup for basketball,
football, etc. programs). You can also place nearly all programs on any site. Offering
general products/services like credit card approval, domain registration, etc. can appear
on any site. Sign up for as many as you like and see which generate the most revenue for
you.
6. Can I buy the products/services
through my own site and receive the commission for it?
You may want to refer to your program's details, but many
do. It's a great way to save money on the products you offer and use.
7. Is there a limit to how many
programs I can sign up for?
No, you can sign up for every program. The more you sign up
for allows you to test your site's traffic and see which programs work best.
8. When do I get paid?
Each program have their own methods. The popular methods are
monthly and quarterly. Some require a minimum amount before a check is sent. If the
minimum is not earned in that period, it rolls over until it is met and sent on the next
pay date.
9. How are my sales/clicks/leads
tracked?
Your sales/clicks/leads are tracked by your unique linking
code. Be sure to use only the code they offer you or else you will not be given credit for
the sales/click or leads you produce.
